A leading provider of Controlled Source Electromagnetic (CSEM) imaging services seeks an Electronics Engineering Manager to become the Company’s focal point for the effective development of their CSEM acquisition systems.
The Company provides services that include acquisition, processing and interpretation of CSEM (Controlled Source Electro Magnetic) and integration of seismic and EM data for the global offshore oil and gas industry. They are one of a very few companies with commercial CSEM capability and leads the scientific advance of the technique.
With a strong electronic background, you will be central to the effective development of the CSEM acquisition system, which utilizes tri-code state transmitter and ultra-sensitive ocean-bottom receivers. The challenge of this job is to define and produce acquisition products that will measure some of the smallest signals on earth and yet yield huge results for our Oil and Gas customers.
This is fully integrated project engineering from first scientific concept to fully industrialized product deployed in the harsh offshore exploration environment, you will need to be highly adaptable in understanding diverse technologies and dealing with ‘never done before’ challenges. You will need to provide strong, demanding leadership and motivation to the team and varied technical partners and subcontractors. You will need to be conversant with Commercial and Industrial standards, design and test conventions, moreover uncompromising with quality whilst able to negotiate good value.
An established oil & gas service Company is looking for representatives in various regions to promote and sell their specialised oil and gas services to the upstream industry. The Company’s strategic plan is to further develop its business in Houston, GOM, China, India, Africa, Russia, Brazil and the Far East and is looking for local representatives to support this objective.
This role is ideal for an oil industry professional with good sales and business development skills and who has a desire to work independently as an agent in one of these regions.
This exciting and rewarding role has two main levels of responsibility for the designated region – firstly, the general promotion of the Client’s brand and market presence and secondly the direct sales of the Client’s products and services to the oil and gas industry players in the region.
