| Job Description |

Reporting to the Operations Director, this role encompasses many functions including:
General Activities
· Gathering Oil and Gas production data from the field’s operating company, compiling excel and other documents and preparing reports (eg summaries) for Management.
· Liaise with Reservoir Engineering & Geology personnel to assist with their workload during operational campaigns, & compiling of reports to Management etc
· Identify and attend relevant training courses as agreed for advancement and development of the technical support role in the company.
· Attend internal meetings, take notes & present data and external meetings as required.
· Potential (in future) to travel to satellite office (Aberdeen) for meetings and to undertake tasks.
· Assist with defining improved processes and procedure and liaise with internal personnel to create fit for purpose record keeping and reporting methods.
HSE Activities:
· Compiling HSE statistics and creating reports, eg Environmental hours worked vs atmospheric emissions, PONs etc, for use in regular reports.
· Gaining awareness of HSE compliance requirements as applicable to the Company, by existing HSE knowledge, research eg on HSE / DECC / Ospar websites, liaison with HSE consultant, compiling new standards and work practices and applying these.
· Attend external meetings as required eg on HSE compliance
· Keeping abreast of industry trends and requirements as required e.g. HSE, ISO compliance, etc.
· Work towards being single point of contact for specific HSE matters,
Facilities & Drilling
· Researching and compiling data on developed projects, eg Field data, development & tie-back options, platform production statistics, incorporating these into reports, keeping data up to date.
· Assist with evaluations of field life, economics, reserves for developed projects.
· Compiling drilling statistics for operated exploration wells during drilling campaigns, and future development wells.
· Keeping up to date on drilling HSE requirements and compiling required data for presentation to regulatory bodies.
Preferences: The successful candidate will have:
· A minimum of a vocational qualification in a related engineering subject. Degree preferably in a geoscience or petroleum engineering subject.
· Minimum of 2 years working within the Oil and Gas Exploration and Production industry essential.
· Good experience working with production data (e.g. collecting, compiling, editing, managing, reporting on) essential.
· Good client facing skills – you will interact with external partners and others in the gathering of information and data.
· A good knowledge of the full oil and gas life cycle highly advantageous.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
· Good team player – the ability to take instruction and to work with the team and independently to achieve team goals.
· Confident and self reliant – the ability to get on and do the tasks at hand, and to seek advice/assistance when required.
· Good time management – you need to be highly organised with excellent co�ordination skills, able to multi-task and have a high regard for operational effectiveness & efficiency essential
· Good general IT systems skills – experienced in using MS Excel, Powerpoint, Word.
· Self motivated, adaptable and enthusiastic with a proactive approach to tasks.
· Highly flexible & dynamic individual – must be able to adapt to work loads and changing demands.
· Willing to travel.
Package: A Base Salary of £25K - £40K is on offer dependent on skills and experience. Plus Company benefits and long-term incentives available. The Company are flexible regarding working hours – open to negotiation.
